In November 2018, Third Coast Percussion premiered Perpetulum, Glass’s first ever work for percussion ensemble.
Using the composer’s instructions (included in the complete score) and drawing from themes in Glass’s composition, TCP composed this cadenza which is featured on its GRAMMY-nominated album, also entitled Perpetulum.
